What we say

One of a kind
Oscar Wilde was the first LGBT co-op in the nation, opening about a decade ago. At first the co-op had a difficult time adjusting to the frat culture on the south side of the UC Berkeley campus, experiencing several incidents of vandalism. But Oscar Wilde co-op has become a UCB institution, best known for its crazy Halloween party and provocative workshops exploring sex and drug-use. Every college and university needs an Oscar Wilde Co-op.

***** Pretty Interesting Place

I lived there for a year and met some great people, but, that said, it takes a certain type to live in the co-ops--perhaps you know who you are. In any case, it is a safe and fun place for all queer individuals to have fun and make friends.
