This 4-hour event will feature:
- Dr. Curtis Crane of Brownstein & Crane Surgical Services discussing surgical options for trans men. He'll describe and show photos of metoidioplasty and phalloplasty surgeries, and will be available for Q&A.
- A panel of men who have undergone phalloplasty and/or metoidioplasty. They'll discuss their motivations for surgery and their outcomes and experiences.
- Willy Wilkinson, Author discussing CA insurance law, as it pertains to trans surgeries, and how to use these laws to get your surgeries covered.
This event is free and open to the public. Minors (people under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Food and beverages will be served.
The front desk person on the ground floor may ask that you sign in. Movement Strategy Center is located on the 5th floor, through the double doors on the right side of the suite.
The location is wheelchair accessible and bathrooms are gender-neutral. Though we will not be able to provide ASL interpretation, we plan to videotape the event and caption it thereafter.
