East Bay Gaymers & Geeks: Spring Meet and Mingle/Casual GameDay

It's been a while and we wanted to get everyone together for another full day of casual gaming, food and fun. Join the East Bay Gaymers & Geeks Crew for a day focused on making new friends and bonding through casual gaming (board, card and video) Event Details: Food: This is a potluck so please bring some sort of food or drink for the group. If you absolutley can't a small donation would be great to contribute for any additional food/drink runs that might take place during the event. Weather: Since we have a nice big farm house, weather permitting we will be doing some of the gaming outside. Werewolf will be especially fun outdoors in the guise of darkness. Bring a sweater just in case. Transportation: The walk from the San Leandro bart is a treck, so be prepared to car service from the Bart station or carpool with a buddy. Plenty of parking avaialble. I'll make a post the day of to be at the bart in case we do any pickups ourselves. Games: Since the focus of this event is being social with everyone, long form boardgames are discouraged. Games being played will run between 10-30 minutes in length and will promote large group play, and information sharing, opinion gathering and cooperation. Don't worry! We will be having events dedicated to long form board gaming in the future ;) Feel free to bring any casual games that you want to play while here that are not listed below. Theme: It's near st. Patrick's day so if inclined bring your favorite st. patty's day themed food or drink. A special lucky cocktail will be served.
