For Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Folks:
Bring Your Lunch!
Join Impact Hub Oakland for a lunchtime talk-in space to discuss and redefine freedom and liberation in the aftermath of the events in Charlottesville, VI. While this is not a vent session, we will share on how to honor our emotions and harness our energy to unpack and attack White Supremacy in all it’s forms.
Come with where you’re struggling, your questions, your hearts, and your commitment to undoing racism.
Hosted by Impact Hub Oakland and Omi Gallery
Facilitated by Ashara Ekundayo in partnership with many Comrades, Healers, and Activists
A Talk-In for White People facilitated by Beyond Separation will be hosted simultaneously at Impact Hub Oakland. Please note that we are purposely creating separate spaces based on racial identity in order for participants to find more ease in sharing feelings. We ask that you honor our request to convene as White or as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (non-white) for this stage of the healing.
