Deconstructing the Gender Binary

Join us for an interactive workshop on gender and identity, in order to better understand yourself and become a more inclusive and effective activist. As a core part of personal identity, each of our genders has an impact on how we move through the world, view ourselves, and are treated by others. It is important that we all deepen our understandings of what gender means in order to create community dynamics that value and respect the diversity of identities that exist. All are welcome, regardless of gender or knowledge about gender identity. This workshop is for people who are ready to explore, discuss, and grow in their understanding of their own identity, other identities, and what gender means.
